Social Innovation Camp begins: 48 hours to make something that matters

June 19th, 2009

And so it begins.

Social Innovation Camp Scotland swung into action this evening as our Campers descended on the Saltire Centre, Glasgow. They came from Dundee, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and London - as well as Canada, Estonia and America.

Back in March, we launched a competition to find the best ideas to use the web to change something important. This weekend,  we have less than 48 hours to make six of those ideas a reality.

This evening has been a chance to meet everyone who’s going to be involved; tomorrow morning we’ll all be back at 9am and the hacking will commence!
